I’ve been working all week in the camera store where I am part-time employed. This means that time to get away and buy presents have been to say the least, limited. Therefore, in order to have all gifts ready for Christmas Eve (we celebrate here in Sweden on the eve), I’ve had to think and find some last minute gifts that I wanted to share.

iTunes Gift Card

You can always go and open up iTunes and get an iTunes gift card that you can print out. Perfect as well if you have a music lover on your list. In fact, I recommended this already in my gift guide.

It should be available in most countries and if your family member/friend has got an iPhone, this would also be perfect as it is good for all apps on the app store as well as all the music, TV shows, movies and more.

The School Band Playing

The School Band Playing

I’ve become somewhat the school photographer now for the year and a half I’ve attended this school. We have an annual christmas event where the first year students and third year’s, do some typical Swedish folk dances and entertain during an evening where the school choir also sings and performs together with our school band.

It is a great evening, although it is somewhat tiring to shoot for about four hours non-stop, then dash home and process most images and get them up in two hours before bed, still to be able to get up in the morning for classes as usual.

Well, it went fine this year too, as it did last year, if not better.

The photo on the right of this post is while the band is playing and the one below here is of the third year’s “clog dance”.

The Clog Dance

The Clog Dance

My great friend Firgs just tweeted a link to a YouTube video that is so very true and very funny if you ever felt the same. It’s called “Procrastination” from Tales of Mere Existence. Check it out below (and make sure to pay a visit to Firgs site too):

Erik's Holiday Gift Guide 2009

As every year, this being no exception, I’m releasing my Holiday Gift Guide that can be downloaded over on Bernskiold Media. The idea of this gift guide is to provide you with ideas on what to get photographers/techies or gadget lovers for christmas, or what to wish for if you belong to the group. The guide is arranged in sections for different types of people, like photographers, videographers, designers, gadget lovers and more.

I should note that this guide is in no way endorsed by any manufacturer and I am not being paid anything from anyone for making this available. These are things that I use and recommend to you, that have made my life a whole lot easier.

Please stop over at the official gift guide section here to either view it in your browser, or to get your downloadable PDF today, and spread the word around. You don’t know what you might be getting!

This story by the way, over here on the blog, is the “scoop” and being released before the actual kick-off. So if you read it here, you get it before the other Bernskiold Media visitors do. Thanks for reading here, or following me on Twitter or Facebook! I appreciate it!

Photoshop World

I’m going to Photoshop World in Orlando, March 24-26! I know, I know, if you follow me on Twitter or Facebook you will probably have noticed already and if you are a NAPP Forum member, you wouldn’t have missed out Firgs thread about it (thanks all). Nevertheless, I will be going and it is going to be a blast, at least, so I have decided!

It is also going to be the first time I am going to the US which is obviously going to be a blast as well. It still feels a bit unreal but the flight, hotel and conference tickets are booked/being booked. The trip is actually going to be happening! Wohoo!
